Winter Café Celebrations Across our Campuses

We were delighted to welcome families and friends to our Winter Café events, which took place at both Parkhead and Kelvingrove campuses. Each afternoon was filled with music, creativity, and lots of sweet treats!

Parkhead Campus

The first Winter Café was held at our Parkhead campus. The café seating entrance was transformed into a castle, carefully formed from cardboard by Mrs Fraser with the fantastic help of our pupils. It set the scene perfectly for a cosy winter celebration inside.

Guests enjoyed a wide selection of sweet treats and hot drinks, including delicious luxury hot chocolates that were very popular on the day. The children performed a variety of songs they had been learning, singing beautifully in English, with one performance even sung in Gaelic.

Several pupils also showcased their individual talents with solo performances on piano, guitar, and flute. Their confidence and musicianship were a joy to watch and made the afternoon truly memorable. It was a wonderful event enjoyed by all who attended.

Kelvingrove Campus

Our second Winter Café took place at the Kelvingrove campus and brought together both primary and secondary pupils. The performances were incredibly impressive and highlighted the wide range of musical talent across the school.

The programme included group singing, ukulele performances, and stunning solo pieces on the piano and violin. Our secondary pupils also demonstrated their skills by performing together so beautifully as an ensemble. A special thank you goes to Miss Markoff, who did a fantastic job pulling everything together and supporting the pupils throughout.

As with Parkhead, guests enjoyed sweet treats and hot drinks while soaking up the warm atmosphere.
