Welcome to Melville-Knox Glasgow
Melville-Knox Christian School is currently the only Christian school in Glasgow and one of the few in Scotland. We offer a thorough and excellent education that is based upon the Word of God and prepares children to serve God throughout all stages of life. Children need to learn Biblical wisdom, a quality that is desperately lacking in modern Scotland. Biblical wisdom is not just learning facts about the Bible, but learning how the Bible relates to all of life. Biblical wisdom bows before Christ in every subject of the curriculum. It honours Christ who is Lord of all of life. Our School seeks to be consistently apply these principles through the whole curriculum to prepare our pupils to serve in His Kingdom.

Job vacancies - Secondary Teachers (Full time or part-time/job share)
Melville-Knox Christian School Glasgow is an independent Reformed Christian school serving families in the Glasgow area. The school’s Board of Directors are seeking to recruit Secondary teachers (Full time or part-time/job share) who will help to take forward its vision for Christian Education in Scotland. Subject specialists in the sciences, mathematics, social studies, expressive arts, modern languages and English are required to supplement our current specialist staff in these areas and take the growth of the school further. The successful candidates will need to be committed Christians holding a reformed conviction, in-line with our constitution, and members of a church. They will need to be GTCS registered. The school benefits from small class sizes and an excellent teaching and learning environment. Safeguarding is of the utmost importance at Melville Knox for both pupils and staff. All necessary safeguarding checks and clearances will be undertaken before any appointment. The successful candidates will be required to understand the school's specific safeguarding policies and practices as part of their induction and ongoing professional responsibility. The school received an excellent inspection report at the end of its first year in 2015 and has grown considerably since then. We now operate on two sites and extended secondary provision to S4 in August 2025.
