Mrs Snell (Deputy Headteacher)
Mrs Snell is a qualified primary school teacher who is registered with the GTCS. She has twenty-six years of experience teaching in private and state schools in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Before moving to Glasgow, she started a school for supportive education with her husband, was an enrichment teacher, and most recently, taught at a Christian school in Cape Town. She is married with one daughter.
Mrs Gamble (Teacher)
Mrs Gamble joined Melville-Knox Christian School in 2022. She qualified in Primary Teaching with a Bachelor of Education in 2012. She is married and has four young children. Her husband is the Pastor of Grace Church in Bothwell. She is passionate about the need for Christian Education in Scotland and is pleased to serve with the staff at Melville-Knox.


Mrs Dickie (Teacher)
Mrs Dickie joined Melville-Knox Christian School in 2023. She holds a BEd (Hons) degree in Primary Education from Glasgow University, a MSc degree Social Policy from Strathclyde University and a PGDip in the Theory and Practice of Nurture Groups and Nurture Teaching, from University of Leicester. She has three teenage children, her son and two daughters. During her 36 years of teaching experience, she has been a Staff Tutor, developing school policy and practice and delivering in-service training to schools in Argyll and Bute, taught in Karachi Grammar School, Pakistan, as part of a teacher-exchange programme and has led training, development and research programmes within the voluntary sector. She retired early from mainstream teaching in 2022 and has always had a passion for child development and education. She regards it a blessing to be serving the Lord through her continued work with children at Melville-Knox Christian School. She is a member of Partick Free Church of Scotland ( Continuing).
Mr Barrowman (Teacher)
Mr Barrowman first joined Melville-Knox Christian School in 2023 as a Teaching Support Assistant. He then completed his PGDE the following year at the University of Glasgow before returning to the school for his probationary year as a teacher. He currently attends Glasgow Grace church in Knightswood.


Mrs Morrison (Teacher)
Mrs Morrison started at Melville-Knox as a volunteer back in 2023 helping out in the P1-2 and p3-4 class one day a week along side studying International Business in Glasgow. She then went on to complete her PGDE in primary education in Aberdeen last year. She got married in December to Fraser who is a joiner in Musselburgh. She is currently completing her probation year with Melville-Knox as she recognises the need for Christian education in Scotland and has a heart for teaching from a biblical perspective. She is a member in the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland.
Mrs Hughes (Classroom Assistant and Administrator)
Mrs Hughes joined the team at Melville-Knox Parkhead at the start of the 2024/25 school year. She has been associated with Christian education for over 20 years and recently finished educating her two children. She has also been actively involved in local Christian home-education circles, regularly teaching classes in a local co-operative. As her children are now grown and heading on to further education, she’s honoured to be able to continue working with children and investing in the future generation – helping them to know Christ in every aspect of their lives. Mrs Hughes is a member of Falkirk Free Church.


Mrs Gillies (Classroom Assistant)
Mrs Gillies is a qualified Primary School teacher. She studied French and Psychology in Glasgow University and has a postgraduate diploma in Dyslexia from Kingston University, London. She worked for three years as a classroom teacher, then for fifteen years as a Support for Learning teacher (part-time). She is married with three grown up sons and is a member in the Glasgow Reformed Presbyterian Church.
In addition to the staff detailed above, we have a number of volunteer classroom assistants with a range of experience and skills.
