Fundraising for others

On the 15th June this year the pupils and staff at our school took part in a sponsored walk around the local area, to raise funds for ‘Sgoil Creideamh’, a Christian school in The Gambia. The school shares our aim of bringing the truth of the Reformed faith into the education of the children that attend. Our pupils were encouraged to think of the global mission of Christ’s kingdom and to sympathise with those with greater needs. It was incredibly successful. Together with an online toy sale organised by our PFA and a non-uniform day we raised a total £1500! £650 of the money was used to buy Christian books for the school which are being shipped from the UK and £850 has been sent directly to the school to buy furniture in The Gambia. We pray this effort will be greatly blessed to the children in The Gambia.
