Leavers’ Assembly

A Time of Thanksgiving and New Beginnings

Our Leavers’ Assembly was a special occasion as we gathered together to celebrate the end of another school year and say goodbye to those moving on to new adventures.

It is always bittersweet to see our senior pupils leave. We have had the privilege of watching them grow academically, socially and spiritually, and while we will miss them greatly, we rejoice in all that God has done in their lives. Our Primary 7 pupils now prepare to begin an exciting new chapter as they move on to secondary school. We also said goodbye to several pupils who are moving elsewhere. Our prayer is that wherever God leads them, they will continue to grow in His grace, walk faithfully with Him, and know His love and guidance in the years ahead.

This year’s assembly was especially significant as we also marked the retirement of Dr Nicol. God has used her greatly through her commitment in establishing a Christian secondary school in Glasgow. Her vision, dedication and unwavering faith have impacted pupils, families and staff, and we are deeply thankful for all she has done.

One of the most moving moments of the assembly came when a group of pupils sang The Blessing as a tribute to Dr Nicol. It was a beautiful performance that reflected our prayers for her as she begins this new season of life. While we will miss her greatly, we are delighted for her and pray that God will richly bless her as she continues serving Him.

As another school year comes to a close, we thank God for His faithfulness. We pray that He will go before all of our leavers, guiding their paths, strengthening their faith and using them to be a light wherever they go.
